Grampian Marine

Grampian Marine Ltd. operated from 1962 to 1986 as one of Canada's most successful sailboat manufacturers. Based in Oakville, Ontario, the company produced quality fiberglass sailboats designed for Canadian sailing conditions, particularly the Great Lakes. Working with designers including George Hinterhoeller, Grampian built boats known for solid construction, conservative design, and excellent sailing characteristics. Popular models included the Grampian 26, 30, 34, and 37. The company emphasized quality over quantity, building approximately 5,000 boats during its 24-year operation. Grampian boats remain highly regarded for their construction quality and seaworthiness.
