Balboa Boat Company

Founded in Southern California, Balboa Boat Company emerged during the fiberglass boat boom, with designs commissioned by Arthur Marine Products. The company collaborated with renowned designer Lyle C. Hess, whose work on the Balboa 20 (launched 1967) was a breakout success, enabling Hess to focus full-time on boat design.
