Tartan 4600
Description
The Tartan 4600, designed by naval architect Tim Jackett, was produced by Tartan Marine from 1993 to 2004, with 26 hulls built. This masthead sloop is a flagship performance cruiser renowned for its speed, seaworthiness, and luxurious accommodations, featuring a fin keel with spade rudder (deep, shoal, or centerboard options) for versatile handling and a beamy hull for stability—sleeping 6–7 in a two-stateroom teak interior with two heads, ideal for extended offshore voyages with premium build quality. The beaver tail keel version draws 5'6" with a ballast of 9600 lb. The keel/centerboard draws 4'10" up and 9' down with a ballast of 10500 lb.
