Swampfire (Mull 34)
Description
8900-pound displacement, pure race boat, to be set up for both singlehanded racing, and crewed racing. This boat carries a 1-foot penalty pole (jc IS 15.00). Swampfire is a famous Gary Mull-designed 3/4 Ton IOR racer from 1974. It is best known as the winner of the first Three-Quarter Ton Cup world championship held in Miami, Florida, where it dominated by winning every race. This lightweight, powerful design marked Mull’s first major success in level-rating class racing and influenced several production and one-off boats. The Ranger 32 production boat is a derivation.
