Super Satellite

Super Satellite

Description

The Super Satelite (often written Super Satellite) is the larger and more advanced evolution of the original French Satelite one-design dinghy, designed to meet growing demand in the late 1950s and early 1960s for faster, more competitive racing sailboats while retaining the forgiving and accessible handling of the original class. It was developed by renowned naval architect Jean-Jacques Herbulot—the same designer behind many successful French one-designs (such as the Caravelle, 420, and Corsaire)—and built by several French yards under license, most notably Aubin, Bihoré, and other regional builders.
