Stornoway 14

Stornoway 14

Description

The Stornoway 14 is a 14‑foot traditional rowing/sailing dinghy inspired by classic Scottish fishing boats, designed by François Vivier and offered as plans by Vivier Boats since the 2010s. Intended as a versatile tender or daysailer, it has been built in dozens worldwide by amateur craftsmen. The design features lapstrake plywood construction (6 strakes), a balanced lug rig, narrow beam for speed through water, and exceptional rowing qualities. Known for elegant lines, stability, and seaworthiness, the Stornoway serves as a yacht tender, beach launch, or solo explorer with capacity for 4 adults. Vivier's meticulous detailing ensures both beauty and performance.
