The Stickleback Dory is a 15'6" lapstrake rowing/sailing dinghy designed by Iain Oughtred and offered as plans since the 1980s. Intended as a versatile tender or daysailer, dozens to low hundreds have been built worldwide by skilled amateur builders. The design features elegant 6‑strake lapstrake plywood construction, narrow waterline beam for speed, a balanced lug or gunter rig option, and exceptional rowing qualities.
