Stickelback 15

Stickelback 15

Description

The Stickelback 15 is a 15‑foot plywood sailing dinghy designed by Ken Hankin and offered as plans by Duckworks Boat Builders Supply since the early 2000s. Intended as an easy weekend project for amateur builders, it has been constructed in dozens to low hundreds worldwide. The design features simple stitch‑and‑glue plywood construction, a narrow "stick‑like" hull for speed, a pivoting centerboard, and a balanced lug rig. Known for its lively performance, portability, and minimal materials cost, the Stickelback 15 excels as a fast daysailer for one or two adults. Its slim profile and responsive handling make it popular among performance dinghy enthusiasts.
