Starwind 27
Description
The Starwind 27 is a 27‑foot trailerable pocket cruiser designed by Jim Taylor and built by Starwind Yachts (USA) from 1984 to 1987. Only about 35 boats were produced, making it Starwind's rarest model. Known for its sleek, modern lines, lightweight construction, and excellent sailing performance, the Starwind 27 offers a spacious interior with standing headroom, double V‑berth, settees, galley, and enclosed head. Features include a fin keel (shoal or deep draft), spade rudder, fractional sloop rig, and a design optimized for coastal cruising and weekending. Its combination of speed, comfort, and trailerability appeals to performance‑oriented sailors.
