Star One Design (commonly known as the International Star or simply the Star) is one of the most iconic and enduring one-design racing keelboats in sailing history. Designed in 1910–1911 by Francis Sweisguth (a draftsman in William Gardner’s naval architecture office), it was originally intended as a local New York-area racer but evolved into a global phenomenon.
