Spindrift 10 (Also 10n For Nesting)
Description
The Spindrift 10, part of B&B Yacht Designs’ versatile Spindrift series, is a lightweight, stitch-and-glue plywood sailing dinghy designed as a step-up from the smaller Spindrift 9. Created by Graham Byrnes in the 1990s, it balances the roles of a rugged yacht tender and a capable daysailer, offering more room and stability than the 9 while retaining simplicity and portability. With a 10-foot hull, it’s ideal for solo sailors, families, or small crews, and its optional nesting version (which splits into two sections) makes it a favorite for cruisers with limited deck space. The Spindrift 10 is praised for its quick rigging, responsive handling, and affordability, appealing to DIY builders and yacht clubs alike. Over 1,500 Spindrift plan sets have been sold globally,
