Seidelmann 37

Seidelmann 37

Description

The Seidelmann 37 is a 36'10"–37' American fiberglass racer-cruiser designed by J. Robert (Bob) Seidelmann and built by Seidelmann Yachts in Berlin, New Jersey, from 1980 to around 1983. Production was limited (estimated 50–100 hulls), making it a relatively uncommon but well-regarded model from the late-1970s/early-1980s era of IOR-influenced performance cruisers. Bob Seidelmann, a sailmaker and one-design champion, founded the company and designed most of its line (24–37 ft), emphasizing tall rigs, wide beams carried aft, and good sailing characteristics for club racing and coastal cruising.
