Seawolf 30
Description
The Seawolf 30 is a 29.75-foot fiberglass monohull cruising sailboat designed by David Feltham and built by Seawolf Yachts Ltd. (UK) starting in 1980. It features solid GRP construction with a fin keel and spade rudder (some examples or related models offered bilge/twin keels), a masthead sloop rig, and a reported production of approximately 500 boats, making it one of the more successful models from this smaller-volume British builder known for practical, sturdy family coastal cruisers. The design emphasizes a sea-kindly motion with substantial displacement for comfort, decent performance under sail (reported sail area around 410 sq ft), and easy handling for coastal and protected waters cruising. Key features include practical accommodations sleeping up to 6 in a two-cabin layout, inboard diesel auxiliary (original options like Petter or Volvo Penta), moderate beam for stability, and a reputation for solid build quality that has kept many examples sailing decades later, often with owner upgrades. It is distinct from the unrelated American Watkins/Seawolf 30 (a modified Watkins 29 with reverse transom and far fewer built).
