Seaforth 24

Seaforth 24

Description

The Seaforth 24 is a charming, classic American trailerable pocket cruiser designed by Stephen Seaton (a naval architect later known for larger power yachts) as a sturdy coastal cruiser. First built in 1977 by Capson Marine and later by Precision Boat Works in Florida, it's now out of production but has a dedicated following among owners who appreciate its traditional lines, seaworthiness for its size, and no-nonsense build. This is a fiberglass monohull with wood trim, featuring a masthead sloop rig (with a small bowsprit and boomkin for the backstay), a spooned raked stem, angled transom, and a long fixed keel with a transom-hung rudder steered by tiller. It's built for easy trailering (though at 4,200 lbs displacement it's on the heavier side for a 24-footer, so plan for a capable tow vehicle).
