Schock 25
Description
The Schock 25 (also known as the WD Schock 25) is a classic American trailerable daysailer/racer, designed by Seymour Paul (in-house at W.D. Schock Corp.) and built by W.D. Schock Corp. in the USA from 1961 to 1964. Only about 90 hulls were produced, making it a relatively rare vintage fiberglass monohull from the early days of production sailboats. It emphasizes light weight, responsiveness, and fun performance for club racing, daysailing, or casual lake use—trailerable with a simple fin keel setup. It's distinct from the modern Schock Harbor 25 (a 2000s-era daysailer/weekender by the same company, with different specs like heavier displacement ~3,900 lb and inboard engine options). The original Schock 25 is a pure daysailer with no cabin accommodations, focused on speed and handling rather than cruising features.
