Rival 38 A
Description
The Rival 38A is a highly regarded classic British bluewater cruising sailboat from the renowned Rival series, designed by Peter Brett and built by Marine Construction Ltd. (also known as Rival Yachts or Southern Boatbuilding) in the UK. Production ran from the late 1970s into the 1980s, with the 38A being the more common aft-cockpit variant of the Rival 38 family (a center-cockpit version and ketch rig options also existed for the overall 38 line).
