Ridas 35
Description
The Ridas 35 (also known as RIDAS 35) is a popular Estonian-built cruising sailboat from Ridas Yachts (Ridas Yacht & Composites OÜ, founded in 1993), known for solid Scandinavian-influenced designs and good build quality at accessible prices. It's the best-selling and most popular model in the Ridas series, originally based on the Guyline 355 design (sometimes listed under that name early on). Designed by the well-known Finnish naval architect Guy-Christer Lönngren (with some input from Kalenikas in certain references), production started in 1996 (with hulls from the late 1990s into the 2000s/early 2010s; the model is now discontinued/out of production, though Ridas continues with larger yachts like the 46 DS). It's positioned as a fast cruiser/racer with family cruising comfort — spacious for its size, good sailing performance, and CE Category A (Ocean) certification for offshore capability.
