The Najad 343 is a renowned Swedish bluewater cruising sailboat designed by Thorwald Karlsson and built by Najadvarvet AB in Henån, Sweden, from 1981 to 1989, with approximately 260 units produced. An evolution of the popular Najad 34 from the 1970s, it features a center cockpit with a raised poop deck for enhanced aft cabin headroom and seaworthiness, earning its reputation as a "genuine blue water cruiser" for its robust construction, balanced handling, and timeless Scandinavian design.
