Maxi 909

Maxi 909

Description

The Maxi 909 is a sleek, modern (for its era) Swedish pocket cruiser/racer-cruiser designed by the iconic Pelle Petterson (Olympic medalist and creator of the entire Maxi lineage). Built by Maxi Yachts from 1986 to 1991, around 210 hulls were produced. It represents an evolution in the Maxi series—more performance-oriented than earlier models like the 77/84/87/95, with a fractional sloop rig, fin keel with bulb, and spade rudder for sharper handling and better upwind ability while retaining the family's signature comfort, space efficiency, and robust fiberglass construction.
