Macgregor 36 Catamaran

Description

The MacGregor 36 is a lightweight fiberglass catamaran sailboat designed by Roger MacGregor and built by MacGregor Yacht Corporation in Costa Mesa, California, from 1977 to 1983. As one of MacGregor's early forays into multihull designs, it was conceived as a fast, trailerable (with some disassembly) coastal cruiser and racer, emphasizing performance over luxury. With its narrow hulls, high sail area/displacement ratio, and fractional sloop rig, the MacGregor 36 is an ultralight high-performer—capable of planning in moderate winds and excelling in upwind racing. Only about 20–30 were produced, making it rare today, but it's prized by multihull enthusiasts for its speed and simplicity.

Custom sail calculations are not possible for this boat as no I, J, P and E dimensions are available.
