Kipawa Canoe

Kipawa Canoe

Description

No standard sailing rig exists for the Kipawa — it's a pure paddling canoe (no sail plan, mast step, or leeboard provisions in stock form). Some owners add DIY sailing rigs (e.g., drop-in lateen, lug, or sprit sail homemade setups), but it's not a sailboat class or designed for sailing out of the box. There follows Sailrite's recommendation.
