Description
The Kirby 19, sailboat designed by Canadian naval architect George Kirby and built by Skene Boats in Canada during the early 1980s, is a compact, fractional-rigged sloop designed for day sailing and club racing, offering a balance of performance and ease of handling for recreational sailors. With a lightweight fiberglass hull and a lifting keel, it’s ideal for lakes or coastal waters, featuring a small cuddy cabin for minimal overnight accommodations. Approximately 50–100 units were produced, earning a niche following for its agility and affordability
