Description
The Islander 36 (often abbreviated as I-36) is a classic American sailboat designed by renowned naval architect Alan Gurney as a versatile racer-cruiser. It was produced by Islander Yachts (later known as Tradewind Yachts) from 1971 to 1985, with approximately 770 units built, making it one of the most successful and longest-produced 36-footers in U.S. maritime history.
