Description

The ICE 52 (with variants like ICE 52 RS for a more race-oriented/lightweight version and emerging ICE 52 ST for a synthesis of design/performance) is an Italian high-performance cruiser-racer designed by Felci Yacht Design (Umberto Felci) and built by ICE Yachts (part of the historic Yacht 2000 facility in Salvirola, Italy, with 30+ years of maxi-yacht experience). Launched around 2016–2019 (with ongoing production and new builds like the 52 ST in progress as of late 2024), it combines modern classic styling, advanced epoxy infusion/carbon-glass sandwich construction (for lightness, strength, and low weight—often 11–12.5 tons depending on spec), a scimitar bow and carved stern inspired by the yard's ICE 33 racer, and a fractional sloop rig optimized for both fast cruising and competitive racing (e.g., under IRC/ORC).
