Harbor 20

Description

Harbor 20 Sailboat Overview The Harbor 20 is an American trailerable fiberglass day-sailer and one-design racer designed by Steve Schock of W.D. Schock Corp. in Newport Beach, California. Introduced in 1997, it was created to revive interest in sailing among busy adults and juniors at yacht clubs, emphasizing simplicity, fun, and ease of handling. With its self-tacking jib, stable keel, and spacious cockpit, it's perfect for solo, couple's outings, or club racing—accommodating up to 8 guests without rail-sitting or boom-ducking. The design prioritizes no-fuss rigging (under 10 minutes) and low maintenance, making it ideal for harbor hopping or casual afternoons. Over 300 have been built, supported by an active class association with 7 fleets and annual nationals. A larger sibling, the Harbor 25, followed in 2007. Production briefly shifted to One Design Composites in Florida (2018–present) for composite builds. 1800 lb. (900 keel, 900 hull) sloop with self-tacking jib.
