H-800

H-800

Description

The H-800 (also styled as H800) is a compact Croatian-built racer-cruiser designed by French naval architect Alain Jezequel and produced by Hocevar Navtika (or similar small Slovenian/Croatian yards like Hocevar) in the late 1980s to early 1990s, with limited production (exact numbers scarce, but examples appear in European used markets, often in the Adriatic region). It's a fractional or masthead sloop (sources vary slightly) emphasizing agile performance for club racing, regattas, or short coastal cruising—lightweight and responsive with good light-air speed, decent upwind ability, and a self-bailing cockpit for family or small-crew use in moderate conditions. The design draws from 1980s Quarter Tonner influences (some hulls raced as such), offering a balance of fun sailing dynamics and basic overnight accommodations (berths for 4–5, small galley/head, cozy interior).
