The Grand Soleil 34 is an iconic Italian performance cruiser-racer from Grand Soleil Yachts (built by Cantiere del Pardo), marking the brand's debut in 1973–1974. Designed by Groupe Finot (France), it's a classic from the early era of the yard, with production running from around 1974 to 1983 (some sources note up to the mid-1980s, with over 200–300 hulls built, including licensed versions in Japan). It established Grand Soleil's reputation for blending Italian style, high-quality construction, responsive sailing, and offshore capability in a compact package.
