Grand Banks Europa 42/43
Description
The Grand Banks Europa series refers to a line of premium trawler-style motor yachts from Grand Banks Yachts, a renowned builder (originally American, later with production in various locations including Asia) famous for semi-displacement hulls, exceptional build quality, teak interiors, and long-range coastal/offshore cruising capability. The "Europa" designation (often abbreviated "EU") distinguishes models with an extended flybridge that covers the side decks and aft cockpit, providing excellent weather protection, open outdoor living space, and easy walk-around access—ideal for single-handed or couple cruising. Unlike the more traditional "Classic" layouts (with open aft decks and often ladder access to the flybridge), Europa models emphasize covered, all-weather usability while maintaining the iconic Grand Banks craftsmanship: hand-laid fiberglass hulls, solid teak joinery, and thoughtful layouts for comfort on extended trips.
