Gib Sea 362
Description
The Gib'Sea 362 (also styled Gib Sea 362) is a solid French family cruiser-racer designed by Joubert/Nivelt (Michel Joubert and Bernard Nivelt) and built by Gibert Marine (Gib'Sea/Gibert Marine) in France from around 1992 to the mid-1990s (production was limited, likely in the low hundreds, with many examples in European charter or private use). This fiberglass monohull masthead sloop steps up from smaller Gib'Sea models with more volume, comfort, and seaworthiness for coastal/offshore cruising—forgiving handling, good stability, and a capable sail plan that performs well in moderate-to-light winds. The interior is a standout: spacious and practical (typically 3 cabins sleeping 6–8, V-berth forward, large saloon with settees, galley, enclosed head, teak finish for warmth, and good headroom ~6 ft+), making it family-friendly or suitable for longer passages.
