Description
The Gib'Sea 352 (also written as Gib Sea 352) is a well-regarded French family cruiser-racer designed by Joubert/Nivelt (Michel Joubert and Bernard Nivelt) and built by Gibert Marine (Gib'Sea/Gibert Marine) in France from 1988 to 1992. It replaced earlier models like the Gib'Sea 105/106, with production in the low hundreds (exact hull count not precisely documented but limited), many used in charter fleets (especially Mediterranean) for its spacious, practical layout and solid cruising credentials. This fiberglass monohull masthead sloop features a fin keel with spade rudder for good upwind performance and handling, emphasizing comfort, seaworthiness, and versatility—forgiving in varied conditions, stable motion, and a generous sail plan for capable light-to-moderate wind sailing. The interior is a highlight for its size: typically, 2–3 cabins (often a "Master" version with owner's aft cabin), sleeping 6 comfortably (V-berth forward, saloon settees, galley, enclosed head, chart table, headroom ~6 ft+), with teak/practical finishes. Auxiliary is usually a small diesel (e.g., Yanmar 3GM30 ~27 hp or similar).
