Feeling 416
Description
The Feeling 416 (also known as the Kirie Feeling 416 or Alliaura Feeling 416 after Kirie became part of Alliaura Marine) is a spacious French cruiser-racer built by Kirie/Alliaura Marine (Les Sables d'Olonne, France) from 1991 to around 1997, with a limited production run (estimates ~50–80 hulls, as it's a higher-end semi-custom model in the Feeling series). Designed by Philippe Harlé, Bernard Mortain, and Mavrikios (Harlé-Mortain team), it's an evolution of earlier Feelings (like the 346/326), focusing on volume, bright interiors (large coachroof windows), comfort, and good performance for coastal/offshore cruising or club racing. It's a masthead sloop rig (with overlapping genoas for power), fin keel (standard) or optional shoal/lifting keel variants (for shallower draft or beaching), spade rudder, wheel steering, and self-draining aft cockpit. Construction is fiberglass (GRP) with a reputation for solid build quality (better than some contemporaries), though older interiors can show wear (woodwork, carpet damp issues).
