Diva 35

Diva 35

Description

The Diva 35 is a Swedish performance-oriented cruiser/racer designed by Bernt Lindquist and built by Fabola Boats (also associated with Fabola Yachts and AP-Plast) in Sweden from 1983 to 1993, with a total of 355 hulls produced. It features a fractional sloop rig, fin keel with spade rudder, and lightweight composite/fiberglass construction optimized for speed, ease of handling, comfort, and innovation — a timeless design that influenced many later light-displacement yachts. The boat is praised for its large cockpit (the biggest for any yacht under 40 ft at the time), ergonomic layout, and competitive racing success (e.g., strong results in "One of a Kind" events in 1986), while remaining practical for family cruising and long-distance passages.
