F-25c
Description
The F-25C (also known as the Farrier F-25C or Colorado Composites F-25C) is a high-performance, carbon-fiber folding trimaran designed by Ian Farrier and produced under license by Colorado Composites (USA) from 2000 to ~2006. It is the lightweight, race-optimized evolution of the fiberglass F-25A, shaving ~500 lbs off the hull while retaining the patented Farrier Folding System™ and the same 25 ft LOA. With only ~20–25 units built, the F-25C is one of the rarest and most coveted trailerable trimarans ever made. Owners describe it as a “Formula 1 car on water”—capable of sustained 20+ knot speeds, PHRF ratings in the 60s, and single-handed ocean passages. It’s the direct ancestor of the modern F-22R and remains a benchmark for carbon trimaran performance in 2025.
