Ericson 35-Iii
Description
Overview The Ericson 35-3 (also known as the Ericson 35 Mk III) is a modernized racer-cruiser designed by Bruce King and built by Ericson Yachts from 1982 to 1998. With an estimated 100–150 hulls produced, it succeeded the popular Ericson 35-2 (1969–1982) as a larger, beamier evolution emphasizing performance under IOR rules while enhancing cruising comfort for 4–6 aboard. Featuring a fin keel with spade rudder, masthead sloop rig, and solid fiberglass construction, it delivers agile handling (PHRF ~144–162), stiffness in breezes (40% ballast ratio), and a spacious interior with updated ergonomics.
