EndeavourCat 36
Description
The EndeavourCat 36 (also known as EndeavourCat 36) is a cruising catamaran produced by Endeavour Catamaran Corporation (USA) starting in the late 1990s/early 2000s, evolving from earlier models like the EndeavourCat 34 with the addition of a 4-foot wide stern walkway for enhanced cockpit usability and deck space. It features a fiberglass construction with twin hulls, no daggerboards or asymmetric setups, a shallow fixed keel draft ideal for coastal/ICW cruising, and standard twin diesel engines (often around 29 hp each) for reliable maneuvering and backup power. The boat prioritizes comfort and liveaboard potential with spacious interiors (headroom over 6 ft in saloon/cabins, often 7 ft in galley), multiple cabins (typically 2–3 with queen berths), a large saloon/galley area, head(s) with shower, and good storage/tankage for extended trips; it's a fractional sloop rig designed for easy shorthanded sailing rather than high performance, with a modest sail area/displacement ratio emphasizing stability and ease over speed. Production was limited (exact numbers not widely documented, but part of a small series), and many examples are still in use today, often praised for fitting standard marina slips despite the wide beam while offering monohull-like accommodations in a stable platform.
