Edel Cat 35

Description

The Edel Cat 35 (also known as Edel 35 or Adventure 10M in some markets) is a compact, performance-oriented cruising catamaran designed by French naval architect Maurice Edel and built by Edel Catamarans (formerly Edel Strat) in France. Introduced in 1985 as an evolution of the popular Edel Cat 33, it features a modular three-part construction—two slender hulls connected to a central bridge deck saloon—for easy transport and assembly. With over 130 units produced until 1995, it's celebrated for its stability, shallow draft, and lively sailing qualities, making it ideal for coastal cruising, charter fleets, and light blue water adventures. At 35 feet overall (though hull length is 34'9"), it's trailerable in sections and offers a surprising interior volume for family use, with average passage speeds of 6–7 knots under sail.
