E-Boat

E-Boat

Description

The E Boat, also known as the E Boat Class, is a classic British one-design racing sailboat designed by Julian Everitt in 1971. Built primarily in fiberglass by yards like Banham Brothers in the UK, production ran from 1971 to the mid-1980s, with approximately 100–150 units constructed. It's an offshore one-design predating the Mini Ton class but sized to measure under the International Offshore Rule (IOR), emphasizing equalized performance for handicap racing.
