Drabant 24
Description
The Drabant 24 is a classic Danish cruiser/racer designed by Gert Gerlach and built in fiberglass by various small yards (primarily in Denmark) from 1968 to 1978, with around 165 hulls produced. It's a fractional sloop with a fin keel and skeg-hung rudder, known for spirited performance, light displacement, and a generous sail plan that delivers excellent light-air capability while remaining seaworthy for coastal and moderate offshore use. The boat features a simple, functional interior (sleeps 4–5), good stability, and a reputation for being stiff and well-balanced, making it a popular vintage choice in Scandinavian sailing communities.
