Dash 34
Description
The Dash 34 (also known as the Dash 34 or Davidson Dash 34) is a lightweight, high-performance cruiser/racer designed by renowned New Zealand naval architect Laurie Davidson. It's a fast, stiff, and well-balanced boat with a reputation for being quick and competitive, especially in the hands of skilled sailors. Davidson's designs often prioritize good looks, handling, and speed without being overly rule-bound, and the Dash 34 is a prime example from his Pacific Northwest-influenced work. It was built in fiberglass from 1981 to 1984 (limited production, fairly rare today). The boat is ultralight for its size, making it responsive and fun for club racing, coastal cruising, or even events like the Race to Alaska (R2AK) deliveries.
