Cyclone 23 Trimaran

Description

The Cyclone 23 (also known as the CC Cyclone 23 or Marples Cyclone 23) is a classic American folding trimaran sailboat designed by naval architect John Marples in the early 1990s. It's a plans-only, home-build design using the innovative "Constant Camber" (CC) plywood method developed by Marples and Jim Brown, which creates compound-curved panels for lightweight, curved hulls without complex lofting. Introduced around 1990, it's intended for amateur builders emphasizing trailerability, performance, and simplicity for coastal daysailing and racing. Over 50–100 units have been built worldwide, with the design praised for its elegant lines and spacious open cockpit—often called the "multihull equivalent of a classic monohull."

Custom sail calculations are not possible for this boat as no I, J, P and E dimensions are available.
