Cs Merlin 36
Description
The CS 36 Merlin is a Canadian coastal cruiser-racer sailboat designed by Tony Castro and introduced in 1986 by CS Yachts (Canadian Sailcraft) in Brampton, Ontario. Production ran until 1990, with approximately 100 units built, many customized with extensive options (e.g., Kevlar or fiberglass hulls, swim platform, turbo diesel, tall rig, and four keel types). It replaced the popular CS 36 Traditional (Raymond Wall design) after a year of overlap, sharing similar dimensions but featuring a more modern, Euro-style hull with a wide beam, flat run, and IOR influences for better performance.
