Cross 26
Description
The Cross 26 is a rare, plans-only American folding trimaran sailboat designed by multihull pioneer Norman Cross in the late 1970s (plans dated around 1978). It's a home-build design using plywood-epoxy stitch-and-glue construction, with only a handful of units (estimated 5–10) completed by amateur builders, emphasizing trailerability, simplicity, and performance for coastal daysailing and light racing. The amas (outriggers) fold alongside the main hull via stainless hinges, reducing beam from 20 ft to ~8 ft for easy trailering.
