Creekmore 7C (7M)

Creekmore 7C (7M)

Description

The Creekmore 7M (also known as the Creekmore 7m or sometimes referred to in the context of its 23.16 ft LOA) is a small, lightweight cruiser/racer or performance daysailer from the late 1970s/early 1980s. It's a compact fiberglass monohull designed for fun, responsive sailing on lakes, bays, or coastal waters, with a reputation for being quick in light winds, manageable, and suitable for club racing or casual outings. Owners describe it as a "fun, manageable boat" that's strong in light air but doesn't point particularly high upwind — more of a reaching/running performer with good planing potential in breeze. Designed by Lee Creekmore (son of Ray Creekmore; Lee is credited with several smaller performance-oriented designs like the Creekmore 22 and Lindenberg 26), it was built in fiberglass (likely in Florida or associated yards). Production was limited (exact numbers unknown, but rare — possibly dozens at most, with some sources noting it's obscure today). A keel/centerboard version was advertised as the Creekmore 7C.
