Coronado 25 Cb
Description
The Coronado 25 Centerboard (CB) is a variant of the classic American trailerable cruiser-racer sailboat designed by Ed Edgar and Frank W. Butler, introduced in 1966. Built by Coronado Yachts (a Whittaker Corp. division) from 1966 to 1975, with some UK production by Russell Marine, around 500–600 total Coronado 25s were made, including ~20–30% CB versions (exact split undocumented but based on owner reports). The CB model trades a bit of fixed keel stability for shallower draft and easier trailering/beaching, retaining the sturdy fiberglass construction, spacious interior, and forgiving handling of the standard version.
