Copperhead

Description

The Copperhead is a compact, high-performance sailing dinghy designed for recreational and club racing. Produced by MFG, it's known for its lightweight construction, ease of transport, and suitability for solo or two-person sailing. Launched in the late 20th century, it emphasizes simplicity and fun on the water, with features like a kick-up rudder and centerboard for shallow-water beaching. It's not an Olympic-class boat but excels in local fleets and training programs, appealing to sailors transitioning from larger keelboats or seeking a trailerable option.
