Catalina 355

Description

The Catalina 355 is a versatile American cruising sailboat designed by Gerry Douglas and built by Catalina Yachts starting in 2010 (with roots in a 2008 prototype). It's part of Catalina's acclaimed 5 Series, drawing from the award-winning 445 to deliver a balance of performance, comfort, and safety in a more compact package. Ideal for coastal cruising or weekend overnights with ambitions for longer voyages, it emphasizes thoughtful engineering—like easy access to systems and ergonomic cockpits—that sets it apart in the production market. Over 500 units have been produced, and it's still in active build as of 2025. Wing keel version: - - draft: 1.37 m /4.5 ft. - ballast: 2,808 kg / 6,200 lbs. - displacement: 6,704 kg / 14,800 lbs.
