Catalina 22 Class Mainsail. Mid-girth - 6 feet 1 inch maximum. Quarter-girth - 3 feet 6 inches maximum. Three quarter-girth - 8 feet 1 inch maximum. Battens - Four in number, with the top batten no nearer than 4' 7" to the head, along a line between the head grommet and the clew grommet. Disclaimer. Boats are not all the same -- even when produced in the same factory of the same model. Sailrite does its best to publish accurate dimensions, but we often find it worthwhile to have our customers measure their boats carefully before we produce kits for them. You should take the same precautions, especially when the data is not from Sailrite.
