Cape Dory 30 Ketch
Description
The Cape Dory 30 Ketch is a 30.18 ft (9.20 m) full-keel cruising sailboat designed by Carl Alberg and built by Cape Dory Yachts in East Taunton, Massachusetts, from 1976 to 1986. It is a variant of the Cape Dory 30, featuring a ketch rig with two masts (main and mizzen) for enhanced sail plan flexibility. Approximately 367 Cape Dory 30s were produced across all rig types (sloop, cutter, and ketch), with the ketch being less common. The ketch rig is favored for its ease of handling and suitability for coastal and offshore cruising.

Disclaimer. Boats are not all the same -- even when produced in the same factory of the same model. Sailrite does its best to publish accurate dimensions, but we often find it worthwhile to have our customers measure their boats carefully before we produce kits for them. You should take the same precautions, especially when the data is not from Sailrite.
