Cape Dory 10

Description

The Cape Dory 10 is a 10.5-foot sailing dinghy designed by Andrew C. Vavolotis and built by Cape Cod Shipbuilding between 1964 and 1983. Known for its classic design and sturdy fiberglass construction, it was the first model in the Cape Dory line, primarily intended as a rowing craft but adapted for sailing. It’s valued for its simplicity and craftsmanship but has limitations in sailing performance, particularly off the wind. It features a sliding Gunter rigged mainsail.

Custom sail calculations are not possible for this boat as no I, J, P and E dimensions are available.

Disclaimer. Boats are not all the same -- even when produced in the same factory of the same model. Sailrite does its best to publish accurate dimensions, but we often find it worthwhile to have our customers measure their boats carefully before we produce kits for them. You should take the same precautions, especially when the data is not from Sailrite.
