C&C 33 Mk I
Description
Designed as an evolution of the C&C 3/4 Ton racer, the Mark I was introduced in 1974 amid the International Offshore Rule (IOR) era, focusing on competitive racing with cruising amenities. Built by C&C Yachts in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, it targeted performance-oriented sailors. Approximately 209 units were produced before being replaced by the Mark II. The design influenced the C&C 30E (1977–1982), a European-market variant. Early models featured a Universal Atomic 4 gasoline engine, reflecting the era's technology, but many have been repowered with diesels for reliability

Disclaimer. Boats are not all the same -- even when produced in the same factory of the same model. Sailrite does its best to publish accurate dimensions, but we often find it worthwhile to have our customers measure their boats carefully before we produce kits for them. You should take the same precautions, especially when the data is not from Sailrite.
